African Grey Breeder provides a complete 1-year health guarantee on all weaned birds — one of the strongest guarantees offered by any African Grey breeder in the United States or Canada. This reflects our 25+ years of breeding excellence and our absolute commitment to every bird we place.

🧬 Disease Testing — All Birds

• All birds confirmed negative for Polyomavirus (PVD)
• All birds confirmed negative for Avian Bornavirus (ABV)
• All birds confirmed negative for Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease (PBFD)
• All birds confirmed negative for Chlamydia psittaci
• No symptoms of disease or parasites at time of sale
• Free of viral infections, pathogenic bacterial infections, fungal infections and congenital defects
• Comprehensive paperwork provided with every bird

🛡️ 1-Year Health Guarantee — Terms

• Applies to all weaned birds (birds eating independently at time of sale)
• If an avian vet confirms the bird was unfit for sale due to a pre-existing condition, present valid vet documentation within 24 hours
• Upon receipt of valid documentation we offer a full exchange OR full refund
• We encourage all buyers to have their bird examined by an avian vet within 30 days of purchase
• All birds should undergo a quarantine period upon arrival if other birds are present

⚠️ Important Conditions

• Birds taken and hand-fed by the customer after purchase are not eligible for any guarantee
• No refunds if a customer is unable to care for an unweaned bird
• Re-homed birds are sold AS-IS with no health guarantee
• The buyer is solely responsible for all veterinary expenses arising from ownership
• There is no guarantee against aspiration, asphyxiation or starvation for unweaned chicks being hand-fed
• By purchasing an unweaned bird, the buyer acknowledges the inherent risks of hand-rearing
